Yes, the next Golden Boy.

It was a title eliminator in this the battle of Minimumweights Oscar Collazo (5-0, 3 KO’s) and Victorio Saludar (21-6, 11 KO’s). Collazo, who has a world class amateur pedigree was stretched to the limit by a hardnosed ring veteran in Saludar. In the seventh round both men hit the deck but each arose and went on to finish the grueling twelve round scrap. Final scores read 118-110, and 116-112 x 2 all in favor of Collazo.

On the victory Collazo stated, “It was a tough fight, I had to use my whole toolbox. My opponent was very strong and experienced, he's a veteran in the sport. Thanks to my corner I got in the ring and fought round by round. A world championship is next, I want to be a champion.”

Featherweight Diego De La Hoya (23-1, 11 KO’s) put the wood to Enrique Bernache (24-14, 12 KO’s) in this one-sided attraction. Bernache just did not have the natural ability to deal with De La Hoya’s charge. Though he is tough as nails Bernache was brought to a halt by Diego’s two fisted onslaught at the 2:51 mark of round 4.

“I felt very happy to be back, said Diego De La Hoya. “I haven't fought in two years so I felt great. My opponent was tough. I'll probably fight again in September. Hopefully I will fight for a championship soon.”

Lightweight Miguel Gaona (3-0, 2 KO) opened the show with a blistering first round KO over Abdiel Padilla (1-3, 1 KO). Ganoa dropped Padilla right away and then sealed the deal with a wicked body shot before the first three minutes commenced.
