Hat Trick For La Habra Boxers

Last week was as busy a time as one could ask for at The La Habra Boxing Club. The small gym, tucked away in the uppermost tip of Orange County California, had all three of it's top fighters performing in Los Angeles on 2 different cards.

Light Heavy Julio Gonzalez (37-2,23 KO's), and Super Middles Librado Andrade (21-0,15 KO's) and Enrique Ornelas (20-1, 13 KO's), who all began their boxing careers in La Habra as youths just looking for a place to hang out, did what they do best, and all three were successful.

And although each of the fighters have taken their own paths, it was imperative that all three get a victory.

For Enrique, after coming off an unexpected Knockout after being clearly ahead throughout his last fight, it was time to get back on the winning side.

For Librado, who has been dominating everyone he meets, it was time to put an explanation point on the year and remind everyone not to forget him when the 2005 title run begins.
And for Julio, this was a huge crossroads type fight that he had to win or face an uncertain future. Anything short of a big win would take him out of contention for any of the titles.
The outcome? Mission Accomplished! All three were victorious and the prospects for 2005 are bright for all three!

Boxing2004 sends a huge congrats to La Habra's head Trainer and Cutman, David Martinez who has played a huge part in all their careers and was working the corner for all of them last week. As Cheif second for the brothers and cutman for Gonzalez.
It's was quite a week for a town that most people have never even heard of!
