It looked as though the show was not going to go on as Promoter Ed Holmes sweated it out while the Paramedics were late for their call. But after 1 & 1/2 hours the gurney was in place and the show did in fact, go on! And even though it didn't start on time, once it got started the 1000 in attendance were treated to a fine night of local fights.

The main event was a 3 round barn burner that saw Carlos Cisneros go down promptly in round one. But the tough young fighter got up and put his foe, George Moreno on the seat of his pants before the first 3 minutes could finish! The welters went on to put on an entreating scrap and the crowd was thrilled with the action. It was at the midpoint of round 3 that Cisneros started catching Moreno with a barrage of left hooks that left him a hapless warrior on the ropes and forced the ref to jump in and halt the beating at 1:17 of the 3rd.

In the semi-main 40 something Joey Aragon looked his age as he ran out of gas quickly and was handed a unanimous decision loss by his younger opponent Guadalupe Acosta.

The fighter of the night was the young Jorge Garcia who dismantled a tough kick boxer. Garcia, the young La Habra fighter used his fine technical skills to keep Rahnavarei at bay for most of the bout. Garcia keeps undefeated at 2-0 with his unanimous decision win that read 40-36 on all judges cards.

Francisco Zepeda stopped his foe Martin Esparza at 1:20 of the round. Zepeda pummeled Esparza until the tattooed fighter took a seat in the corner and took the 10 count with a smile on his face.

In the opening bout "Machine Gun" Moorings handily defeated his opponent Figueroa with a clear-cut decision 40-35 on all cards.
