On September 17th, Shane Mosely(40-4,35 KO's) will be going up against an undefeated fighter by the name of Jose Luis Cruz (32-0-2, 27 KO's), better known simply as Chelin.

This fight in the Welterweight ranks should prove to be an exciting match up and Boxing2005.com will once again follow the days leading up to the fight, this time with the underdog, Chelin.

Although many don't know about the tough Cruz, Boxing2005 does have personal insight with the Mexican fighter and we think he has a great chance of pulling off the upset. With that in mind we are proud to bring you this diary, leading up to the days of this PPV fight.

As usual, like our recent "Contender Diaries" special and current ongoing "Diary Of A Former Champion" featuring Julio Gonzalez, we will go inside the camp and talk to Chelin, his trainers and everyone who will be behind this young man as he prepares for the biggest fight of his life.

In this weeks installment not only do we get to talk with "Chelin" but we get some words in with his trainer Samuel Gomez and his Manager Senor Rogelio Robles. This inside look at "Chelin" gives us some insight as to how the men are guiding his path to Shane Mosley view "Chelins" progress and his chances for victory in the upcoming fight of his life!

In this special expanded version of The Sugar Buster Diary we take you to the open workout that both fighters were at on Tuesday and we bring you an inside and up-close look at not only "Chelin" but we visit with "Sugar" himself. We hear what he has to say about his upcoming bout and watch him workout as he gets ready to take on the undefeated fighter from Mexico.

It's "Chelin's" last day of training in La Habra before he heads off for Las Vegas and his date with Shane Mosley this Saturday night at The MGM Grand. We have been with Jose Luis Cruz since he made La Habra his home gym for training for this biggest fight of his life, and during that time we have seen him get in top shape as he has focused on this chance and it is one we know he is not going to let get by him, at least not without a fight.
 

We have met his manager and trainer and have watched him from his days hitting the mitts all the way up to some very hard fought sparring sessions with fighters who have put "Chelin" to the test.
 

On this last day in California we spoke to Cruz about the hype surrounding this huge Golden Boy promoted card and we found out how he has been dealing with this entire event. In between all that we throw in just a brief glimpse of his last sparring session.
 

The next time we will be with "Chelin" is at The MGM on Saturday night in the post fight press room, nothing would make us happier than to be asking him about his victory, but either way we know Cruz will be in the ring on Saturday night, fighting as hard as he possibly can, he doesn't know any other way!
