Will "The Thrill" Is Shouting From The Window Again!
I Am As Mad As Hell, And I Can't Take It Anymore!

Say It, Don't Spray It!
At the press conference announcing the Julio Caesar Chavez fight in Los Angeles, Bob Arum suggested to the media that if we were tired of hearing the constant droning on of the broadcasters during the fights that we should make our voice be heard. In fact Arum went so far as to suggest that we should write to the cable companies and tell them to have the broadcasters shut up! Point well taken Bob! With that in mind.......

.........Hey HBO, tell the three guys you got in the booth to SHUT UP! And for heavens sake, pull the plug on that shill Harold Lederman!

Never have I seen or heard a group of broadcasters pander to "The Man" like this. That was the most deplorable show to listen to this year, topping the broadcast that heard the crew chatting and yucking it up with Mayweather during his fight with Brusseles.

Really guys, your act got tired long before George Foreman left the team and now it's just plain awful!

Better take a few turkeys out of the deep freeze, looks like The HBO Crew has launched itself into contention for our annual Golden Bird Award!

Suggestion Box
I would love for Top Rank and HBO to broadcast a show without broadcasters. I think a show that was just miked up for the sounds of the arena and what is going on in the ring and the corners would be a great breath of fresh air, and would be something the fans would enjoy, and who knows, maybe it would be something we would like to see (not hear) on a semi regular basis!

Open Letter To Open Letter Writers
Would someone please tell these fighters writing open letters that their letters are about as misguided as their careers that they are trying to fish out of the toilet! And why does it seem to always be the heavies that are sending these first class tantrums?

Last week I took a poll to find out who the fans thought the best heavyweight was. This poll was prompted by an open letter penned by Hasim Rahman who said it was he who was the best big man out there. Hasim suggested that he must be the Invisible Man because of the lack of attention he was getting. On the contrary Rock, you are not invisible, just ignored! Only 3.4% of our pollsters thought you were the man in the heavyweight division.

And right on cue, my favorite open letter writer, John Ruiz, was busy writing another letter. What are you complaining about now? John, you got your belt back, quit your crying! I think the one who is need of a drug test is you! You got your head handed to you by a steroid bloated Toney, and yet you somehow got your pathetic belt back. And oh, by the way, you registered a whopping 3.4% on the poll yourself. Now, be Quiet Man

One interesting side note, Vitali Klitschko ran away with the votes and came out on top with an overwhelming 40.9% of the votes cast. Can anyone remember when the last time The Champ sent out an open letter crying about his position in boxing? Me either! FANCY THAT!

Don't Do As Mike Does, Do As Mike Says!
Here are some interesting quotes from Iron Mike Tyson himself, made about Kostya Tszyu, just 3 days ago!

".... fighters fight. They don't just sit there and do nothing when their trainer calls it quits."
Which make Mikes post fight statements all the more meaningful!

"If Tszyu really wanted to go on he would have jumped up and said he wanted to continue."
Which makes his sitting on the canvas looking up at the ref all the more telling!

"There's no way you'd get a fighter like my trainer Jeff Fenech retiring in his corner. Guys like him wouldn't give up unless they were carried out of the ring."

Which makes the fact that Tyson used his trainer as an example of a real fighter, as opposed to comparing Kostya to himself! Mike knew days before the fight that he just didn't have what it takes anymore!

GOOD DAY!
We are not going away, the fact is you are worried and we know it!

Another writer of ours was coaxed over to the Big Fat enemy, yet we grow stronger each and every day! Tick Tock Tick ! Time keeps on ticking, into the future!
