With Arturo Gatti's loss on Friday night, Buddy McGirt, the former Welterweight Champ of the World turned trainer, has been sent up to bat on the big stage three times this year, and with three successive losses it's fair to say Buddy is striking out as a top trainer.

Strike One
McGirt trains WBO Heavyweight Champion Lamon Brewster. Brewster promptly loses his title to unknown Serguei Lyakhovich.

Strike Two
McGirt trains Light Heavyweight Champ
Antonio Tarver. Tarver loses to a middleweight going up two classes in Bernard Hopkins. McGirt tells Antonio from the corner, "You're dancing to his music!" No wonder Antonio went into a fog and tuned out Buddy for most of the fight!

Strike Three
McGirt trains everyone's favorite toughman and Champion Arturo "Thunder" Gatti, who promptly gets massacred and McGirt has no answer, unless of course you think the instructions, "box and throw body punches," is somehow cutting edge direction from the chief second!

Yer out!

3 straight major upsets. FRAUD!
