WBC welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather and unbeaten IBO 140lb champion Ricky Hatton held a press conference today at  New York City promoting their December 8 "Undefeated" pay-per-view showdown in Las Vegas. The press conference held outdoors at noon at the Rockefeller Center, Center Garden began with a humorous video by Ricky Hatton (43-0, 31 KOs) and his crew satirizing Mayweather's participation in "Dancing with the Stars," the popular network dancing contest show.

Then a video of why Floyd took this fight  began with an interview from Max Kellerman asking Hatton in his fight with Castillo.” You’ve done something in this fight that Floyd failed to accomplish against Castillo in his first fight. Beat him convincingly and doing it in a fan friendly, exciting fashion. Do you have anything to say to Floyd Mayweather or about a potential fight with Floyd Mayweather?"  Hatton responded “Well you know this fight tonight, what round was it round 4. I think you saw more action in these 4 rounds that you saw in Floyd’s whole career. I would just leave at that."

Ross Greenburg the president of HBO sports spoke about 24/7 series leading up to the welterweight championship match between pound-for-pound boxing king Floyd Mayweather and unbeaten challenger Ricky Hatton. He says that HBO Sports will present an exclusive four-episode, all-access "Mayweather-Hatton 24/7" series in the weeks before the showdown. The first half-hour episode debuts November 18 with two more episodes debuting on subsequent Sundays before the finale airs December 6, just two days before the bout.

Both trainer had their say about each others fighters. Billy Graham spoke about the first time he met Ricky. “ When Ricky Hatton walked into my gym he was a seventeen year old boy.The first time I seen him spar he actually made had my hair physically stand on end. I told him then him and his father if he wanted it bad enough he could become the undisputed champion of the world, The best fighter ever to come out of Britain”.

Leonard Ellerbe did spend more time trash talking than Mayweather saying things like “ You are going up against the best of the best the crème de la crème. The British fans are the greatest fans that are out there. But guess what you’re fans will get an opportunity to see you but it will be in your comeback fight. They won’t be able to recognize you cause you will be looking like the elephant man."

There wasn’t much trash talk from Mayweather who says that he lost his luggage getting to New York.” Ricky has he been in some tough fights he is a pretty completive fighter. But he hasn't been in there with a guys like me Floyd Mayweather. I can adapt and adjust to any style at any weight. Some try to say I am the bigger man in this fight. It really doesn’t matter, skills pays the bills. It really doesn’t matter who’s the bigger man”.

After being introduced by Bernard Hopkins, Ricky Hatton who seemed to be happy that a shade came in from the scorching sun had this to say ” Floyd has been disrespecting me a fair bit this week come December 8th  I know I am going to gain his respect. Floyd's been disrespecting and very aggressive at the press conferences. I just ask that he be as just aggressive in the fight as you are at the press conferences.

To finalize the press conference, the two undefeated rivals stood in a time-honored face off in which Mayweather Jr proceeded to mumble in a low voice to Hatton while Ricky merely smiled.
