Little did #1 IBF Super Middle Contender Librado Andrade know that when he made his training home in Canada with Howard Grant that he would soon be facing Canada's own Lucien Bute. Take it one step further and imagine how Andrade will feel when he steps into the ring in Canada to take Bute’s hard earned belt.

The bout announced Monday pits Bute (22-0, 18 KO’s) vs Andrade (27-1-, 21 KOs), who, trains in Montreal under Grant.

Andrade has become somewhat of a local favorite in Canada and Bute knows it.  "It does have a bit of the feeling of a local fight," said Bute. "Andrade is known here," said the reigning champ.

"I'm cursed or whatever to be on the road at lot in my career, but I'm fortunate that in Montreal they've received me well, so I'm almost at home," said Andrade.

The October 24th battle puts Andrade's never say die pressure fighting against Bute’s troublesome southpaw angles and it is going to be a sure fire brawl that shouldn’t be missed.
