Dawson Makes Johnson Look His Age
With Near Shutout Unanimous Decision

Chad Dawson (now 29-0-0-1, 17 KO's) won a much easier fight with Glen Johnson than their first encounter, with a unanimous decision. Although two judges had it much too close (one round from being a draw), the reality was Johnson won about 2 rounds at most.

From the opening round, Dawson used his height, reach, and movement to land and move. That's how the majority of the fight went. Johnson's pressure wasn't the same as any of his previous fights, but one is to question whether his age has finally caught up with him, or was it Dawson's technique that caused the confusion.

Johnson's best rounds were in round 6 and 12 when Dawson seemed to simply take the rounds off. Dawson was just too busy while Johnson was a "one and done" puncher who didn't have much on his punches tonight.

Final scores were 115-113, 115-113 and 117-111.
Johnson falls to 49-13-2 with 33 KO's.
