Tampa, Florida – legends and Boxing greats were honored this
weekend at the Howard Johnsons in downtown, Tampa. With a
very exiting weekend packed with fun and festivities.
President of the Florida Boxing Hall of Fame Walter “Butch”
Flansburg trusted his heart in putting together this great
weekend of Boxing. Inductees Angelo Dundee, Mary Cohen,Jr.,
Johnny Bos, Rick Folstad and many others were on hand for
this weekends festivities.
Flansburg preparing
molds creating boxing fist statues in honor to all the
inductees that were present at the 1st F.B.H.O.F.
Memorabilia show.
Legendary Champion
Hector “Macho” Camacho demonstrated pad work for the
fans at the event, Camacho out going taking pictures and
signing autographs after the workout.
Former Executive Media
Director for Don King and presently running full
operations for Former Lightweight Champion Roy Jones,
Jr. Square Ring Promotions, Bob Goodman sticks his hands
in the paste to develop the hand statue for the Hall.
Former WBC Heavyweight
Champion Pinklon Thomas known for his war with Tim
Witherspoon to capture the title puts on a heavy bag
demonstration at the event with his veteran skills.
Dr. Fredie Pacheco “The
Fight Doctor” shown with his art of “The Greatest”
speaks with a fan at the event.
Inductees Referee Max
Parker, Jr. Referee Brian Garry and Legendary trainer
Jimmy Williams puts on a Ring clinic to all the fans
breaking down rules and regulations behind the ropes.
The Legacy continues in
boxing at 17 yr old fighter Christian Camacho the
youngest son of Hector Camacho, Sr. brings pure
excitement to the crowd by putting on a great workout.
Light Heavyweight Daniel
Judah was on hand sparring at the event taking photos
and signing autographs.
