Fight Week Begins In Canada
Report & Photos By William Trillo
With the backdrop of
thunder & lighting in Quebec City, many of the fighters
who will be performing this Friday night at The Pepsi
Colisee got together inside the Place Laurier Mall.
Among the fighters in
attendance was Super Middleweight Librado Andrade who
has captured the attention of many Canadian boxing fans
who came out to check out the star.
After the open workout
Andrade fielded questions from the local press. The
biggest question was concerns about Librado having a let
down after his tough fights with Lucian Bute. Librado
made it clear that to look past his foe Eric Lucas could
be a disaster and he is taking this fight just as
seriously, if not more seriously than any of his past
fights.
After talking with the
media Andrade took time to take pictures with, and sigh
autographs for his growing fan base.
ESPN2 will televise the
May 28 clash between come backing former world champion
Éric Lucas (39-7-3, 15 KOs) and Librado Andrade (28-3,
21 KOs) at the Pepsi Colisee in Quebec City.
