Super Middleweights Eric Lucas & Librado Andrade held their final press conference at the wonderful Château Bonne Entente in Quebec City to give their final thoughts on the upcoming ESPN televised fight this Friday night. Both men looked ready to go and boxing fans can expect a good show on Friday night.

Speaking of looking ready to go, IBF Super Middleweight Champ Lucian Bute was present and we spoke to him not only about this upcoming fight but got an idea of what is on his plate for the future.

Librado Andrade: I am happy to be here in Quebec, it's an honor as always to be on an Interbox card. The last fight with Lucian really got to me and my emotions were all messed up, that's the reason I stayed home to train this time. I have had 3 losses against 2 great champions and I realize there is no shame in that.

Now I am here to do what we do. We fight, we put on a good show and do our best so the fans will want to come back and see us again.

I feel close to Interbox now with 4 fights with them and I thank them for my success.

Eric Lucas: When I decided to comeback I wanted to see if I can still fight. Fighting a top fighter like Librado will prove that, and if I win this will help to bring on some big fights for me.

The ambience in The Pepsi Colisee will motivate me to do my best in front of what should be a full house of my hometown fans.

Lucian Bute: I know Andrade well as I fought him two times, and Eric is a former World Champion, this will be a good fight for both of them. I can see by how they look today that they are both in good shape and should put on a great show. This is going to be difficult for Eric and I wish good luck to both men.

It's going to be difficult to make a fight in Romania because of the economy so I don't know yet about a fight there. I really hope it will happen but right now I just do not know.

I will wait for The Super Six to finish and then I will be waiting to fight the winner.

Stéphan Larouche: The reason we picked Librado to fight is because he is a top 10 fighter and he presents a great challenge for Eric. This will be the perfect test for Lucas and if he can beat Librado it puts him in a position for some big fights, and if not then Eric may want to think hard about whether he wants to continue his career or not.

Regardless of who wins on Friday night I can say that this will be an interesting and exciting fight for all fight fans.

Danny Zamora: We want to thank Interbox for their hospitality, they have treated us very well. As for Friday night all I can say is I know this will be a great fight...may the best man win!
