Seasons Greetings From Librado
Andrade
By William Trillo
With 2010 winding down
and the New Year upon us Super Middleweight Librado
Andrade is staying in shape and getting ready for a huge
2011. With his recent jump in the WBC ranking all the
way up to # 3 Andrade is looking to make another run at
the title next year. Pound4Pound caught up with Andrade
and got in a quick interview with the popular fighter.
William Trillo: Librado, the fans are always asking
me, "What is going on with Librado, when is he fighting
again?" So, tell your fans what is going on with you.
Librado Andrade: We are just waiting to see what's
going on with this scramble in The Super Six and the
other Champions at Super Middle. I most definetely want
the best fights possible, I want to become a world
champion and I want to earn a good living. There is
always a lot of talk about this or that, but we are
waiting for the right opponent and the right
opportunity. We want the biggest and best out there.
WT: So then, is it safe to say your fans can expect
to see you in the first 6 months of next year?
LA: Oh most definetely, hopefully it will be in the
first 3 months. Hopefully we get the right fight early
in the year and it will help us to be something bigger
than we are now.
WT: With the end of the year right around the corner
I would like to ask if there is anything you want to say
to your fans?
LA: Of course, I want to thank you all for your
support and for always cheering for me. Happy Holidays
to everyone, I wish you all the best for 2011, be safe
and enjoy your families. We look forward to seeing
everyone next year and we want it to be the best year
possible. Thanks to all!
