Stevenson vs. Fonfara Rematch
Will Be Presented June 3 At Bell Centre

CORNWALL, Ontario -The promoter of the GYM Group, Yvon
Michel, will confirm next week in a press conference that
the WBC light heavyweight champion of the world, the
Montrealer southpaw Adonis Stevenson (28-1-0), will face the
American Polish Andrzej Fonfara (29-5-0) in a rematch
presented June 3rd at Bell Centre in Montréal.
For Stevenson, it will be an eight defense of his WBC 175
pounds world title.
May 24th 2014, Stevenson beat Fonfara by unanimous decision
in 12 rounds in the ring of the Bell Centre, but the
American has never accepted the result.
Fonfara was claiming a rematch since that time. He is
certainly happy to see this rematch becomes reality.
