Philadelphia promoter Russell Peltz when getting calls from
Managers wanting to match there fighters soft or looking for
a tune-up bout is known to answer with something to the
effect of "If you want a tune-up? Go to Midas!" Peltz is
known for putting on exciting events featuring competitive
match-ups. Let's Get It On Promotions' Tommy Lane is taking
a page from Peltz as he has put together a show Friday night
that features Reno, Nevada local and regional fighters in
bouts where no victory will come easy for the crowd
favorites at the Reno/Sparks Convention Center.

Vasquez 15-1 (3) aims for a top ten ranking and future title
opportunity against 19 year old Riverside, CA prospect
Ricardo 'El Nino' Sandoval 12-1 (8).
Boxing betting tips would have Vasquez as the favorite. The confident Sandoval
is returning to Reno where he upset Olympic alternate Brent Venegas last November. The bout is scheduled for 8 rounds

In a 6 round Light Flyweight bout, Oscar's Brother Santos
Vasquez 5-2-1 (3) faces Puerto Rico's Bryan Aquino 11-2 (5).
Vasquez, an amateur stand out, looks for his 4th straight
victory after a slow start to his pro career.
Heavyweight Prospect Frank Sanchez Faure 6-0 (6) faces
rugged veteran Lamont Capers 9-12-4 (1) in a six round bout.
In a 4 round lightweight bout, Carson City, Nevada's Diego
Elizondo 2-0 looks to use his footwork and fast southpaw
hands to stay unbeaten against Canton Miller 3-1 (1).
Reno Featherweight Ricardo 'The Dreamer' Lucio-Galvan, a
University of Nevada Business student and one of America's
many 'dreamers' in this country has been getting alot of
local headlines and is scheduled to be on the card Friday.
However, matching Ricardo up for the show has been a
challenge with several potential opponents either pulling
out or declining the bout. As of press time, no opponent has
been confirmed for Lucio-Galvan.
Tickets for the event, which is hosted by the Atlantis
Casino Resort, range from $35-$100 with not a bad seat in
the house! Doors open at 6 P.M. with the first bout is
scheduled for 7 P.M.
