N'tetu Suffers His Worst
Loss In Brooklyn

MONTRÉAL —— The light heavyweight Francy Ntetu, a fighter
from Congo, Africa, living in Chicoutimi, Québec, suffered
the worst loss of his pro boxing career Monday night at the
Barclays Centre in Brooklyn, New York.
Ntetu (17-2-0) lost by TKO in the first round against the
undefeated New Yorker Marcus Browne (21-0-0). A boxer of 35
years old, Ntetu will probably stop his boxing career in the
weeks to come.
Browne provoked a knockdown after one minute of action in
the bout with a solid hook on the head. Ntetu got back on
his legs, but Browne maintained his intense attacks, forcing
the referee to stop the fight. Ntetu looked seriously hurt
when the fight has been stopped.
Browne is considered as one of the most important fighters
in the 175 pounds division on the international boxing
scene. Browne is ranked second contender by the WBO, third
by the WBC and the IBF, and seventh by the WBA. He will
probably have a world championship bout before the end of
