Crucial Bout For MBilli

MONTRÉAL - The WBC super welterweight (154 pounds) Americas Continental champion, the Montrealer Christian MBilli (22-0-0), will face the American Vaughn Alexander (17-6-1) December 17th at Exposition Parc in Nantes, France. Mbilli is ranked second contender by the WBC in the super welterweight division.
Mbilli won 20 bouts by KO our TKO. Alexander is from Saint-Louis, Missouri.

“I worked hard to obtain this important fight for MBilli,” said the promoter Camille Estephan, the leader of The Eye of The Tiger Management group. “MBilli has the ambition to dispute a world championship, then, if he wins this important bout, he will be closer than ever to his ambition. I know that MBilli has great ambitions.”

The WBC champion of the world is the Mexican Saul Canelo Alvarez (58-2-2), who won 39 fights by KO or TKO. At his last bout, Alvarez won by unanimous decision against Gennady Golovkin (42-2-1), a fighter from Kazakistan who lives in Los Angeles.

“I want to thank the promoter Camille Estephan to give this great opportiniuty to Vaugh,” said the promoter Gino Lineri, the leader of the Bulldog Boxing Promotions Group. “I am positive that Vaugh gonna win this bout and face after Saul Cenlo Alvarez. It will be a crucial moment in pro boxing.”

Just before the main event, the fight MBilli-Alexander, the welterweight Souleymane Cissokho (15-0-0), a fighter from Senegal who is living in France, will fight the South African Thulani Mbenge (19-1-0), for the WBC Silver welterweight championship.
