Dear Tszyu Crew,
The Floyd Mayweather-Ricky Hatton fight in Las Vegas on the
weekend was a very high quality match and I really enjoyed
watching it. My congratulations to both men.
I think there is no doubt that Floyd Mayweather Jr is the best
boxer in the world pound for pound. He has backed up his words
against the best and that is very important.
While he lost the fight, Ricky Hatton still did a good job. He
was pressuring Floyd and even in the middle rounds, he was
pushing himself to be better and pushing Floyd to be at his
best.
Floyd surprised me with the way he finished the fight. The
knockout was from a perfect punch. It was a perfect left hook
and it proved once again in boxing, you can knock anyone out
with the correct punch and excellent timing.
After the fight Floyd’s face was unmarked and it showed what a
talented boxer he is.
Last Saturday December 8 the Tszyu Crew held ‘Crewfighter 3’ at
the Tszyu Boxing Academy in Sydney. There were lots of
interesting sparring matches between members of the Tszyu Crew,
which were made in the Forum at www.KostyaTszyu.com, and I was
very proud of everyone who took part. There were many new faces
from around Australia and it was great to meet you for the first
time as well as catching up with other Tszyu Crew who I know so
well. Together we had a great day and were able to raise money
for the NSW PCYC (Police-Citizens Youth Clubs) organization
We ended the day with a special celebration dinner at the
Romance restaurant in Kingsford, Sydney. It always pleases me to
see people from different geographical areas and from different
backgrounds come together to have such a great time like old
friends. I am certainly looking forward to Crewfighter 4 in
2008!
This Thursday afternoon December 13 at 1:00pm, I will be
appearing at the Angus and Robertson book store in Shellharbour
Square, Shop 203, Lake Entrance Road, Shellharbour City Centre
