Skovgaard: "Thorslund Can Go All The Way"
Former European Champion Vinni Skovgaard is backing Dina
Thorslund (8-0,5 KOs) to emulate her success when she meets
Gabriella Mezei (8-7-2, 3 KOs) for the European Super
Bantamweight title on March 18 at the Ceres Arena in Aarhus,
Skovgaard, won the European Championship twice as an amateur
and once as a professional, and is considered to be one of
the greatest Danish female boxers of all time.
Now retired, the 36 year-old says she has been impressed
with what she has seen from Thorslund, and believes the
young fighter can ‘go all the way’.
