  Undefeated Fighters Reyes, Monteiro To
Main Event Battle At The Boat 123

Due to medical reasons Marquice Weston was forced to pull out of his Battle at the Boat 123 main event with Joe Jones.

Scheduled for Sept. 7 at the Emerald Queen Casino in Tacoma, Wash., Battle at the Boat 123 was to feature a 10-round main event between cruiserweights Weston (15-1-1) and Joe Jones (11-1).

Instead the six-bout card will be headlined by undefeated boxers Cris Reyes and Manuel Monteiro in a 10-round welterweight fight.

"It is very unfortunate to lose the Weston main event. We were really looking forward to seeing him fight again in front of his hometown crowd," said promoter Brian Halquist. "Luckily we have an incredible plan B in Reyes and Monteiro. Both are undefeated and should be an exciting fight."

Both Reyes and Monteiro bring spotless 7-0 records into the bout. Reyes has registered six knockouts over his last six fights, while Monteiro has KO'ed every fighter he has faced during his professional career.

In addition to the Reyes/Monteiro main event, Battle at the Boat 123 will also feature a semi-main event between Andres Abarca and Kevin Devila and a heavyweight contest between undefeated fighters Nick Mills and Dylan Potter.
