Turkey Of The Year - 2020
It's the time of the year that Pound4Pound starts the annual holiday awards season with our yearly Turkey Of The Year Award. Normally it goes to someone in boxing who has went far below the call of duty to earn the Golden Bird Trophy. But in this year that spun out of control and never got back on track it is not fair to anyone to call them out for whatever blunders they may have committed.

It was the year 2020 alone that takes the full blame for any and all the catastrophes we witnessed. Thanks a lot 2020. We are all counting the days to 2021. It can't come quickly enough.

Happy Thanksgiving to all. Stay safe!

  Jacobs vs. Rosado & Undercard
Press Conference Quotes

Daniel Jacobs – Brooklyn, New York – 36-3, 30 KOs – fights Gabe Rosado at Super-Middleweight
“I don’t agree with him, I think I beat him in every category, and I will show that on Friday night, plain and simple. My goal for taking this fight is to make him eat his words - there’s levels to this game and I’ll show I’m beyond this guy.

“There’s no easy fights in boxing, he’s a top 15 guy, I would say he’s a gatekeeper, but he’s a tough gatekeeper, he doesn’t lay down and if he goes down, he gets back up. A durable guy like Gabe serves as a great show, and the respect that I give every opponent is to prepare at 100 per cent to give my very best.
