Allstar Boxing put on a night of boxing
on Friday night and the local Montebello CA crowd was
treated to an action packed night of fights that left
everyone talking as they witnessed another night of
thrilling if not unusual boxing.
Light Heavyweights Darren Freeman (1-5-1, 1 KO) and Robert Ryan (0-1) battled to a controversial majority decision draw.
Cruisers Richard Paige ((5-3-1, 2 KO's)
and Darrius Watson ( 7-0,3 KO's) twisted and turned in an
awkward bout that saw Paige take a highly contested majority
decision win. The bout was marred with both rabbit punches
and back turning that left a bad taste in the mouths of most
observers at ringside.
In a middle weight bout K.J. Noons
(4-1,3 KO's) KO'd Velvet Malone ( 0-2) at the 1:01 mark of
the sixth round.
In a female tussle Kaelisha West (2-0) remained undefeated with a unanimous decision over a determined Liz Cervantes (1-5).
Yohny Perez (2-0,2 KO's) was handed a first round KO when Edison Morillo (12-3-2,1 KO) couldn't fight on as he broke his left hand in the first round.
The battle of the night welterweights Vardan Gasparyan ( 5-1-1, 2 KO's) and Alan Velasco (4-0, 1 KO) fought to a 4 round decision that you have to see to judge for yourself. Check out our FREE Video and you be the judge! Thanks for the great Hair Care products goes out to www.johnnybhaircare.com |
