Yesterday at the ESPN zone in New York City, Sugar Shane Mosley and Zab Super Judah met to promote their High Stakes bout that takes place May 31st at the Mandalay Bay at Las Vegas, Nevada.  Zab came in looking like Ol' Blue Eyes Frank Sinatra letting us know in New York that in he was doing things his way.

Judah spoke with much confidence coming into his fight with Shane Mosley. “We all know what happens when you look forward to another fight when you have a monster in front of you. I think of no other fight. I think of Sugar Shane Mosley only. When I fought Cotto I had just come off a one year suspension.

I was out of boxing for a whole year and I jumped right into a big fight and I still gave him one of his best fights ever. Now picture that same super Judah at a 100% of himself. This why coming into this fight I stand before you guys and talk with confidence because I know what I am going to bring May 31st.I know for sure that I am going to stop him. I bet him a hundred grand yesterday and he turned the money down. I know for sure this fight is not going twelve rounds. We are going to come out blazing”.

Mosley said that he would do whatever it takes to get a rematch with Miguel Cotto or a fight with Floyd Mayweather. Shane pretty much made it clear that he would not be over looking Zab come May 31st. “Judah is the one standing in my way. I have to beat him first to get to the top welterweights.

Well he definitely has a lot of confidence in his punching power. He is going to have a rude awakening if he believes that he is going to hit me in the chin and I am just going to go down. I’ve been hit by some pretty hard hitters and some big guys. I know he can hit but it’s going to be real hard for him to do that. My goal is to be the best at 147 lbs in the world.
