Emanuel Steward On Klitschko vs. Ibragimov

By Jeff "Big Bazooka" Linenfelser

IBF Champion (also considered by most as the True Heavyweight Champion) Wladimir Klitschko, and Hall Of Fame Trainer Emanuel Steward today agreed that Sultan has improved much in recent years. "He is the biggest test for Wladimir to date", says Steward, " He is very quick and after watching his last several fight tapes over and over, I believe he is a very dangerous fighter because he is a smart fighter. This fight will in the end, be just another step in Wladimir becoming the undisputed Champion officially, even though Sultan is a great fighter, Wladimir is the best heavyweight out there today."

When asked about Kermit Cintron's performance against Jesse Feliciano, Steward added " Jesse is a very awkward fighter and no one ever is prepared for that awkward, almost wild man type style, Jesse has a great chin and it was my call to sit back a little and let the rounds go on a few more before mounting Cintron's all out assault, when he did, you all saw the outcome. Kermit was in great shape for the fight and fought a very intelligent fight, that's why he is the IBF Champion."
