Zuniga Defeats Stanislavjevic Report & Photos By William Trillo
All Star Boxing started off their New Year with a real bang as the full house saw fine action from top to bottom. In the Main Event Fernando Zuniga (27-9) took on the ever tough Danny Stanislavjevic (8-14-3) in an 8 round scrap that was a bloody war. With both fighters cut, Zuniga made the most of his boxing skill and pulled out a hard fought unanimous decision over the game Danny "Z".
The under card had plenty of action and
broke down like this:
Featherweight Jesus Hernandez (7-0) remained undefeated as he took a 4 round unanimous decision over Manuel Sarabia (16-27).
Tyrell Hendrix (1-0) topped Ryan Davis (0-2) in a 4 round Light heavy affair.
Middleweight Elliot Seymour (0-1) evened up his record with a 4th round TKO over John Dunham (0-3).
In a heavyweight feature Joey Hanks (4-0) got the nod over Shedevin Brown (2-4) with a 4 round decision.
In a heavyweight "toughman" style brawl Seth Colbrook won his pro debut by stopping Mike Finney (1-3) in 2.
Featherweight Jose Pacheco (0-4-5) wasted little time by stopping Hugo Ramos(0-0) in round 1.
