Cherry from the Bell attacked Herrera with a range of power shots speed counter punches and intelligence, Herrera not quick to react from the attack took a final over right hand from Cherry as referee Parker jumped in to call a holt to the bout at TKO 1:49 seconds of the first round.

Undercard Action: Ibraheim King (7-1, 2 KOs) defeated Ashandi Gibbs (10-2, 4 KOs) in a 6th rounds, The match could have went either way as Gibbs spent most of the bout pounding King from inside close quarters but did not give him enough position, King took steps back and used his jab through the night to impress the judges but not the crowd on hand.
