All Star Promotions Presents “Combat United” Professional Boxing & Mixed Martial Arts
Tonight At Commerce Casino

By William Trillo

All-Star Boxing’s Ed Holmes promises that no matter what you are hearing from a certain Orange County Promoter (Roy Englebrecht) who is claiming his shows are tops in the area, the fact remains that All Star Promotions is the leader in Southern California and tonight’s show at The Commerce Casino will prove that fact.

Headlining the show will be Said El Harrak (11-1, 5 KO's) vs. Tony Hirsch (12-4-1,6 KO's) in a 6 Round Jr. Middleweight attraction. Harrack was set to take on Robert Garcia but that fight fell out and Hirsch stepped in with 3 weeks notice. Hirsch, a tough fighter from Oakland said he was in the gym and in shape so he is ready to go. Sparring with Andre Ward on a regular basis the fighter from up north is ready willing and able. Harrack said he was disappointed the Garcia fight fell through but still plans on sticking his jab and moving and fully expects to win this fight that promises to be a slugfest. Both fighters are looking to make a statement tonight and hope the victory will launch them into a regional title fight.

As part of the MMA card Jonathan Chacon (1-0) will take on Mike Kubeska who is making his pro debut. This fight has a couple of young lions who are looking to make their mark in this special attraction.

Rounding out the card will be Lightweights Javier Garcia (5-2-I,5 KO's) vs. Manuel Delcid (4-7, I KO).

In a 3 round MMA Featherweight bout Cooper Gibson (3-1) takes on Fernando Bernstein (3-4).

Lightweight Jose Zepeda (6-0,4 KO's) goes up against Aaron Robinson (6-2-2,4 KO's) in a scheduled 4 round bout that has the makings of a true barn burner.

Lightweights Saul Rodriguez (Pro Debut) and William Fisher (0-3) will square off in a 4 round bout.

Jr. Lightweights Allan Benitez (1-1,1 KO) vs. Ivan Lopez (0-1) in a 4 rounder.

Irving Garcia (3-1, 1 KO) and Manuel Morales (0-2) will go at it in a 4 round featherweight attraction.

Doors at The Commerce Casino in The City of Commerce CA will open at 7pm and the bouts are set to start around 8pm. For tickets contact All Star Boxing at 323-816-6200
