Pacquiao vs. Mosley Undercard

On the afternoon of the
Fernando Montiel vs. Nonito Donaire bantamweight
championship, Top Rank President Bob Arum gathered the
boxing media to introduce the undercard combatants on the
May 7th, Manny Pacquiao vs. Shane Mosley mega fight. “If you
do a big fight, you don’t put garbage on the undercard,”
On hand were Wilfredo
Vazquez, Jr. and Jorge Arce who will fight for Vazquez’
WBO Jr. Featherweight belt. Vazquez, the champion from
Bayamon, Puerto Rico, is 20-1-1 with 17 KOs. A five time
world champion, Arce hails from Los Mochis, Mexico and
sports a record 56-6-2.
Top contender Urbano Antillon was also on tap to
announce his rematch with WBC Lightweight champion
Humberto Soto (54-7-2). Last December, Antillon (28-2)
lost to Soto in a classic battle by a narrow margin.
Many publications picked Soto vs. Antillon I as the 2010
Fight of the Year.

Featherweight champion Juan Manuel Lopez faces former
belt holder Orlando Salido (34-11-2) in Coliseo Roberto
Clemente, San Juan, Puerto Rico. Lopez (30-0) used the
opportunity to pose for photos with countrymen Vazquez
Jr. and former champion Ivan Calderon.
Ivan Calderon is looking
to recapture the WBO Light flyweight title he lost to
Giovani Sergura last August. On April 2nd, Calderon gets
