Bizier Will Fight Jo Jo Dan
For The IBF Number 2 Position

MONTRÉAL - The NABA and IBF Inter-Continental welterweight
champion Kevin Bizier, from Québec City, will face the
Montrealer Romanian Jo Jo Dan November 30th at the Québec
City Colisée, in an elimination bout that the IBF will
sanction for the position number two.
Bizier (21-0-0) is actually considered as the third
contender for the IBF welterweight championship of the
world, Dan (31-2-0) is ranked 10th. At his last two bouts,
Bizier beat clearly the former champion of the world Nate
Campbell (36-11-1) and the former European champion Giuseppe
Lauri (53-15-0). Dan, a southpaw, lost twice against the
Turkish Selcuk Aydin (26-2-0).
The fight Bizier-Dan, scheduled for 12 rounds, will be
presented just before the two fights televised by HBO, the
WBC light heavyweight championship of the world opposing the
Montrealer Adonis Stevenson (22-1-0) and the British Tony
Bellew (20-1-1), and the WBO light heavyweight championship
of the world opposing the Russian Sergey Kovalev (22-0-1)
and the Ukrenian Ismayl Sillakh (21-1-0).
