Dierry Jean Will Fight Rivera
For The NABF Title

MONTRÉAL ---- The Montrealer promoter Camille Estefan, the
boss of the Eye of Tiger Management Group, confirmed Tuesday
that Dierry Jean will defend his NABF super lightweight
championship February 16th at the Québec Casino of Leamy
Lake in Gatineau, just beside Ottawa, the Canadian capital
city.
Ranked first contender of the WBC world title, Jean (23-0-0)
will face the veteran Mexican boxer Cosme Rivera (36-15-0).
“Rivera is a veteran with a lot of experience, then, we can
expect a great show between these two boxers.” Jean hopes to
be involved in a WBC title championship later this year, or
in 2014. This fight Jean-Rivera will be the main event of
this pro boxing show. In 2007, Rivera lost a decision
against Andre Berto.
Just before the main event, the Montrealer super
welterweight Ahmad Cheiko (8-4-2) will fight a former
European champion, the Italian Giuseppe Lauri (53-10-0).
