Garcia Compete
For The WBC Champion Of The Year Title

MONTRÉAL - The executive of the WBC championship of the
world, as confirmed that the southpaw Montrealer Adonis
Stevenson is competing the Americans Floyd Mayweather Jr.
and Danny Garcia for the title of the champion of the year.
November 30th in Québec City, Stevenson (22-1-0) could
become the only fighter on the planet this year to win three
world titles fights in a span of six months.
June 8th at the Bell Centre in Montréal, Stevenson dethroned
Chad Dawson (31-3-0) as WBC light heavyweight champion of
the world, in stopping him in 76 seconds, and September 28th
at the same place, he became the first boxer to stop the
former IBF champion of the world, Tavoris Cloud (24-2-0),
who surrounded at the end of the 7th round. November 30th,
Stevenson will face his mandatory
challenger, the British Tony Bellew (20-1-1).
Mayweather Jr, the WBC and WBA super welterweight champion
of the world, who has a perfect record of 45-0-0, won easily
two world championship fights this year in Las Vegas. In
April, he won by unanimous decision against the Californian
welterweight Robert Guerrero (31-2-1), and September 14th,
he won the same way against the Mexican Canelo Saul Alvarez
(42-1-1).
Garcia, an undefeated fighter from Philadelphia (27-0-0),
beat the veteran Zab Judah (42-8-0) by unanimous decision
April 21st in Brooklyn, New York, and September 14th, just
before the match up Mayweather-Alvarez, Garcia won the most
important bout of his career, when he beat the powerful
Argentinian Lucas Martin Matthysse (34-3-0) by unanimous
decision.
