Beterbiev vs. Johnson & Alvarez
vs. Dudchenko - June 12 In Chicago

MONTRÉAL - The Montrealers light heavyweight Artur Beterbiev
and Eleider Alvarez will be in action June 12th at the UIC
Pavilion in Chicago.
A Russian, Beterbiev (8-0-0), the only light heavyweight to
be in the «Top 10» in the world with only eight pro bouts of
experience, is ranked second contender by the IBF, fourth by
the WBC and the WBA, and fifth by the WBO. Beterbiev, who
was supposed to face the African Doudou MGumbu, will be
opposite Alexander Johnson (16-2-0), a boxer of 33 years old
from Oxon Hill, Maryland, in a 10 rounder.
Johnson lost by unanimous decision in 10 rounds against
Alvarez May 24th 2014 at Bell Centre in Montréal. Alvarez,
who is ranked third contender by the WBC, will face the
Ukrenian Anatoly Dudchenko (19-3-0), also in a 10 rounders.
At his last bout, in June 2014 in Wilkes-Barre,
Pennsylvania,, Dudchenko lost by TKO in the seventh round
against the French Nadjib Mohammedi (37-3-0), the fighter
who will meet the WBA, WBO and IBF light heavyweight
champion of the world, the Russian Sergey Kovalev (27-0-1),
July 25th at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.
