Broner Defeats Molina In Snoozer

In what can only be described as a dull and uninteresting
battle Super lightweight Adrien Broner defeated (30-1,22
KO’s) John Molina Jr. (27-3,22 KO’s) by unanimous decision
in a fight that had most of the crowd either booing by the
middle of round 10 or snoring by the end of the affair.
Unlike his battle with Taylor in his last bout Broner chose
to stay away from Molina for the last few rounds. When
Broner told the crowd he did what he had to do to win the
fight the hostile crowd retaliated with spiteful boos.
Molina on the other hand did not do himself any favors by
reaching and stumbling in with awkward punches for most of
the night. John had his moments but they were few and far
between. The crowd were equal opportunity employers when it
came to handing out the jeers.
At the end of 12 rounds the judges scored to fight 120-108
twice and 118-110, all in Broner's favor. Pound4Pound scored
it 118-110 in favor of Broner.
You can dress it up all you want and spray it with the
finest cologne all you want but an ugly fight smells no
matter how much you try to dress it up.
