Lucian Bute
Could Be Obliged To Find Another Trainer

MONTRÉAL - Former IBF super middleweight champion of the
world, the Montrealer Lucian Bute was very thrilled to join
the Freddie Roach’s team last summer, but he could be
obliged to find another trainer. Roach, the Manny Pacquiao’s
trainer, does not know if he will still the Bute’s trainer.
Roach is extremely busy with Pacquiao, and it’s seem the
communication between him and Bute is not perfect. Roach did
not hear from Bute since December, and he learned by the
media that the Montrealer Romanian joined the team of the
Californian advisor Al Haymon recently. “I don’t know if I
will continue to be the Bute’s trainer, said Roach. It’s
interesting that Bute did not communicate with me since he
left the Philippines last fall. And I don’t understand why
he joined the Al Haymon’s team. We will see what will happen
between him and me, but I am not too optimistic.”
