Dierry Jean Should Return To
The Ring In February Or March

MONTRÉAL - The Montrealer lightweight Dierry Jean who past
the last months to cure his alcohol problems, is expecting
to be able to return in the ring in February or March.
Ranked nine contender by the WBC in the 135 pounds division,
Jean (27-1-0) hopes to dispute very significant bouts in
2015.
His intention is to face this year the new WBC champion of
the world, the Venezuelan Jorge Linares (38-3-0). December
30th in Tokyo, Japan, Linares won the vacant WBC title in
beating the Mexican Javier Prieto (24-8-2) by KO in the
fourth round.
At his last fight, in September in Montréal, Jean beat the
Mexican Mario Perez (15-6-4) by TKO in the eight round.
“Dierry is certainly one of the most natural talents in
Canada, said his promoter, Camille Estephan. Now that his
personal problems are resolved, his problems are behind him,
Dierry wants to be concentrate at 100% on boxing, and I am
sure he has everything to become lightweight world champion.
He gonna work very hard in the gym with his trainer, Mike
Moffa, and he will certainly be ready to face action in the
next two months. I am expecting to be able to confirm the
identity of his next opponent very soon.”
