Pascal & Kovalev Ready To Bet
On Their Fight

MONTRÉAL - The WBA, WBO and IBF light heavyweight champion
of the world, the Russian Sergey Kovalev, will give a
rematch to the Montrealer Jean Pascal January 30th at Bell
Centre in Montréal. Kovalev (28-0-1) is ready to bet $50,000
that he will stop Pascal (30-3-1) before the eighth round in
this rematch. If he wins his bet, he will give the amount to
a charity organization.
Former WBC light heavyweight champion of the world, Pascal
is ready to take the challenge on this bet. He is positive
that Kovalev will fail in his mission to stop him before the
eighth round. Pascal also, would give the money to a charity
organization if he loses the bet.
In the first match up between these two fighters, March 14th
also at Bell Centre, Kovalev, who was proceeding to first
defense of his triple crowns, beat Pascal by TKO in the
eight round.
