Possible Rematch
Stiverne-Wilder

MONTRÉAL - The promoter-manager of The Eye Of The Tiger
Management group, the Montrealer Camille Estephan, is
negotiating a rematch between his heavyweight Bermane
Stiverne and the American Deontay Wilder. This rematch could
happen next year.
Wilder (35-0-0) dethroned Stiverne (25-2-1) as WBC
heavyweight champion of the world January 17th at the MGM
Grand Arena in Las Vegas, in beating him by unanimous
decision in 12 rounds. After the bout, Stiverne has been
hospitalized for a serious dehydration.
Stiverne is hoping since several months to get a rematch
with Wilder. At his last fight, November 14th at the Hard
Rock hotel-casino in Las Vegas, Stiverne beat the New Yorker
Derric Rossy (30-11-0) by unanimous decision in 10 rounds.
