Williams vs. Hernandez April 4 In Quebec City

MONTRÉAL - CBS will televise a fight of 10 rounds between the light heavyweights Julian Williams (18-0-1) and Joey Hernandez (24-2-1) April 4th at the Québec City Colisée, just before the presentation of the the WBC light heavyweight championship of the world opposing the Montrealer southpaw Adonis Stevenson (26-1-0) and the Australian Sakio Bika (32-6-3).

Williams (18-0-1), a boxer from Philadelphia, hopes to face the winner of the bout Stevenson-Bika, but Stevenson mentioned many times that if he makes a fifth successful defence of his WBC belt April 4th, he will challenge the winner of the bout opposing Sergey Kovalev (26-0-1) to the Montrealer Jean Pascal (29-2-1), scheduled for March 14th at Bell Centre in Montréal. This bout will involved the three belts owns by Kovalev, the WBA, WBO and IBF light heavyweight champion os the world.

Stevenson wants absolutely an unification titles fight for the 175 pounds division September 26th in Québec City. Yvon Michel, the promoter of the GYM Group, has already reserved the new Québec City Colisée for September 26th for that event. The new Colisée will open the doors September 15th.

Hernandez is a fighter from Miami, Florida.
