Friday In Brooklyn
By Daniel Cloutier
MONTRÉAL — Francy N’Tetu, a light heavyweight from
Chicoutimi, Québec, will face David Benavidez, from Phoenix,
Arizona, Friday evening in Brooklyn, New York. N’Tetu and
Benavidez are both undefeated. It’s 16-0-0 for the Canadian,
14-0-0 for Benavidez. Benevidez is the 15th contender of the
WBA in the 175 pounds division.
“It’s a huge challenge, but I am very enthusiast to face a
fighter so respected, said N’Tetu. A win over Benavidez in
Brooklyn will certainly help me to improve my ratings on the
international boxing scene. I really believe I am deserving
now to see my name in the international ratings. I am ready
now to face the biggest names of the light heavyweight
division. When you want to be ranked by the WBC, the WBA,
the IBF and the WBO, you need absolutely to dispute
significant bouts.”
N’Tetu is the only fighter who beat the Montrealer Schiller
Hyppolite (21-1-0), who is ranked seventh contender by the
WBC in the super middleweight (168 pounds) division.
