Ulysse Stays Undefeated

BLAINVILLE, Canada - The Montrealer super-lightweight Yves
Ulysse Jr. stayed undefeated Saturday evening in Blainville,
a northern suburb of Montréal. Ulysse obtained his 11th win
in pro boxing (11-0-0) in the main event of pro-am boxing
show organized by the promoter Camille Estephan from the The
Eye Of The Tiger Management Group, in beating the Mexican
Francisco Javier Perez (15-8-1) by TKO in the third round.
The show has been presented in front of about 250 boxing
fans in the lobby of a BMW dealership.
Ulysse attacked his opponent with furious attacks to the
head and the body in the first two rounds, but he went on
the floor before the end of the third round. Perez surprised
him with a solid power shot to the chin.
However, Ulysse took his revenge in the fourth round. He
sent Perez twice on the floor, and few seconds after the
second knockdown, the referee stopped the bout.
Just before the main event, the Montrealer super lightweight
Ayaz Hussain scored his 11th win (11-1-0), in beating the
Mexican Juan Armando Garcia (18-5-2) by TKO in the eighth
round.
The bout was extremely violent. In the eighth round, the
last one, Hussain opened the machine and he sent the Mexican
on the canvas. Garcia came back on his legs, but Hussain
maintained his intense charges. When the referee saw that
Garcia was seriously hurt, he stopped the fight.
In the opening bout of the pro boxing, the Montrealer super
lightweight Batyr Jukembayev improved his record to 5-0-0
with a win by TKO over the Mexican Cecilio Santos (31-30-6).
Jukembayev sent Santos on the floor twice in the second
round, and few seconds after the second knockdown, the
referee stopped the bout. Santos was clearly hurt.
