New York, N.Y. - Four-division world champion Miguel Cotto
(41-5, 33 KOs) hosted a media workout at the Wild Card
Boxing Club in Los Angeles ahead of the final fight of the
future Hall of Famer's career, which will be against the
hard hitting Brooklyn, New York puncher Sadam "World Kid"
Ali (25-1, 14 KOs) for most boxing critics many will say
that Ali is way over his head, I clearly believe this is not
the case for Ali. I think this is the fight Ali needs to put
him over the hump in terms of earning more respect from fans
all over the world and certainly getting a big payday
fights. Ali from the bell we predict will start off early on
the veteran Cotto, no question Ali is younger but is he
faster, quicker then Cotto.
Ali is a star no one knows about yet raised and fighting his
young life in the heart of Brooklyn he is a Junior Olympic
National Champion was a PAL National Champion, a U-19
National Champion and two-time New York City Golden Gloves
Champion added to many more of his accomplishments, Recently
Ali fought twice in 2017 with a stoppage over Jorge Silva in
January and a unanimous decision win over Johan Perez in
July. As for the boxing legend Miguel Cotto it is business
as usual coming off a very impressive victory over Japanese
warrior Yoshihiro Kamegai in August, Cotto has battled
through many wars and has seen it all, there is no question
the veteran Cotto is not taking Ali lightly.
The Puerto Rico star Cotto clearly did not waist any punches
in his Hall of Fame career without a doubt he moved very
well and boxed Kamegai in a all out battle giving the fans a
fresh breath of air reminding us of all the great fights
Miguel Cotto holds the record at the “Mecca” Madison Square
Garden with over 140,000 tickets sold in nine fights for
Cotto's WBO World Junior Middleweight Championship. The
action will take place at the World's Most Famous Arena,
Madison Square Garden, and will be televised live on HBO
World Championship Boxing beginning at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT.
