New Acquisition For The Eye Of
The Tiger Management Group: Vincent Thibeault
By Daniel Cloutier
MONTRÉAL - The promoter of The Eye Of The Tiger Management
Group in Montréal, Camille Estephan, has a new player on his
team. Estephan and the president of the organization, the
former boxer Antonin Décarie, confirmed Friday that The Eye
Of The Tiger Management Group signed one of the best
prospect of the Canadian amateur boxing, the welterweight
Vincent Thibeault, from Québec City.
“No doubt in my mind, we just signed a great prospect,” said
Décarie. “Thibeault has fast hands, a good technique and he
is a destructive puncher. I am sure he will become a popular
fighter on the Canadian pro boxing scene. And he will
certainly play a role on the international boxing scene in
the years to come. I followed his performances in the
amateur boxing scene, and I am positive he has all the
weapons necessaries to become a star in pro boxing. Yes,
Vincent is a great acquisition.”
Estephan said: “I am extremely proud of this new
acquisition. Thibeault is a good and spectacular fighter, a
boxer extremely determinate who is not scare to face the
best opponents. No doubt he will play a major role in our
organization in the years to come.”
A boxer of 22 years old, Thibeault has been amateur Canadian
champion. Estephan will confirm soon the date of his pro
debut.
