Claggett, Nadir, Chabot & Perez Victorious In Mexico

MONTRÉAL - The super lightweight (140 pounds) Steve Claret,
from Calgary, Alberta, the Montrealer light heavyweight (175
pounds) Mehmet Nadir, the Montrealer super featherweight
(130 pounds) Thomas Chabot, from Thetford Mines, Québec, and
the welterweight (147 pounds) Angel Perez, from Harrisburg,
Pennsylvania, won all their fights by KO in Cuernavaca,
Mexico, Friday night. This boxing show was presented by the
promoters Camille stephan, from The Eye Of The Tiger
Management Group.
Claggett (29-7-2) beat the Mexican Noe Emmanuel Lopez
(30-13-1) by KO in the fourth round.
“I hurt Lopez in the second round and I finished him in the
fourth round”, said Claggett after the show.
Nadir (17-10-0) beat the Mexican Jair Sena (8-7-2) by TKO in
the third round.
Chabot stayed undefeated in pro boxing (5-0-0), with a win
by TKO in the sound round against the Mexican Jose Flores
Herrera (4-5-0).
And Perez (2-0-0) beat the Mexican Jesus Ricardo Lopez Perez
(2-3-0) by KO in the second round.
The welterweight (147 pounds) Mark Smither(4-0-0), from
Barrie, Ontario, won by unanimous decision against there
Mexican Roberto Gonzalez Robledo (3-3-0).
Finally, the female Mary Spencer made his pro debut with as
win by KO in 15 seconds against the Mexican Netball Escobar
(0-3-0).
The Montrealer lightweight (135 pounds) Avery Marttin Diuval
scored his fifth win in pro boxing (5-0-1), in beating the
Mexican Esteban Hernandez (2-3-1) by unanimous decision in
four rounds.
