WBA World Championship Bout
Between Jean Pascal & Badou Jack

MONTRÉAL —— The Montrealer Jean Pascal will fight the Swedish Gambian Badou Jack in a WBA light heavyweight (175 pounds) world championship bout June 6th at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.

This boxing show organized by Maywheater Promotions organization, will be televised by Showtime.

Just before the main event (12 rounds) opposing Pascal (35-6-1) to Badou Jack (23-3-3), the Americans super welterweight (154 pounds) Jarrett Hurd (24-1-0) and Luis Arias (18-2-1) will have a 10 round bout.

This match up Pascal-Jack is a rematch. In Atlanta in December 28th 2019, Pascal beat Jack by split decision in 10 rounds

“I am very excited and motivated to have this rematch,” said Pascal. “This time, I want to win it clearly. I watched the video of my first fight with Badou Jack and I know exactly what to achieve to win the fight clearly. I got a great preparation and I expect to deliver a good performance June 6th.”

Jack said: “I am in perfect shape, then, I am ready for this challenge. Me too, I know what to do to win this rematch. I will make few adjustments to dominate more rounds this time. It’s a major fight and I got to win it.”

Leonard Ellerbe, the chief of the Mayweather Promotions organization,. said: “I am positive that this rematch Pascal-Jack and the fight Hurd-Arias will be intense and spectaculars. We really believe that we will present a good boxing show June 6th. The boxing fans love action and we will have good action June 6th.”
