Merry Christmas From Kostya

Dear Tszyu Crew,
As we reach the end of another year, I look back at the
obstacles I have overcome and the success of my return to
the ring. But without your great support this would not have
been possible and I thank each and every one of you.
I am in Russia this Christmas Eve and it has been a very
special time for me over the last two weeks. It was a great
honour to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin and to
receive the Russian Sportstar of the Year Award for athletes
living outside the country. I have also become an
International Ambassador for Moscow’s bid to host the 2012
Olympics and Paralympics.
There have been many statements by others over the last few
weeks that I have agreed to fight Ricky Hatton or even Oscar
De La Hoya next. The truth is I have not signed any
contracts or made any decision on when, where and against
whom my next fight will be. I am working through the
alternatives with my management and will let you know as
soon as we have any news.
