Tszyu Clears Up "Hatton
Match Made" Rumors
Speculation has been going back and forth and back and
forth, "it's on", "it's not on", "it's on", "it's not on".
Promoter Frank Warren says it on, then says its close to
being on, blah, blah, blah. Meanwhile, Kostya Tszyu, who is
trying to enjoy his Christmas vacation without thinking of a
possible next opponent until at least January, has made an
open letter to possibly clear things up . . . well, at least
until tomorrow when Warren says he's called Tszyu on the
cell and has gotten him to sign a contract via e-mail to
fight Ricky Hatton in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.
Dear Tszyu Crew,
There has been many statements by others this week that I
have agreed to fight Ricky Hatton next. The truth is I have
not signed any contracts or made any decision on when, where
and against whom my next fight will be.
I am enjoying my holidays now and looking forward to
spending time with my family in Russia for Christmas. I will
not be making a decision on my next fight until some time in
the new year. When I know, I will let you know.

kostyatszyu.com, so let the speculation stop there. Oh wait,
Frank Warren is calling. What's that Warren? Hatton is going
to take on Vivian Harris and Miguel Cotto back to back on
the same night instead? You got it Warren, 'Breaking News'
