In a Province where Hockey reigns supreme, Lucian Bute was
more than honored to come up on top of the list which
included 4 major hockey players. “I am extremely proud of
this achievement. This proves that the sport of boxing is
continuing to flourish in the Province of Quebec. Quebec
boxing gyms are over capacity all over the Province and I am
honored to take home this Achievement in the name of every
youngster who dedicates himself to this sport”.
InterBox President Jean Bédard was equally thrilled with
this news. “I am very proud of my friend Lucian. He deserves
all the recognition he gets. I have never seen an athlete
more dedicated to his sport, more determined, and hungry for
victory. Quite frankly Lucian is a model for all of us. He
stepped foot in Montreal in 2003 not knowing a word of
English or French. Look how far he`s come. The exciting part
is that this is just the beginning. The best is yet to
come”.
“I want to take this opportunity to wish you all a very
safe, healthy and happy 2012 on behalf of myself, Lucian,
Stephan and the entire InterBox team” concludes Bedard.
