Yves Ulysse Jr.'s Fight Removed From Jan. 22 Card
As a preventive measure, Eye of the Tiger Management will be
changing the Boxing card presented at the Cabaret du Casino
de Montréal on January 22nd. After suffering an elbow
injury, Yves Ulysse Jr. (20-2-0, 11 K.O.) has been forced to
pull out of his bout against Antonio Moran (26-5-1, 19 K.O.)
for the NABF super lightweight belt. So, in the first event
of the EOTTM 10-year anniversary presented in association
with The Queen, Mise-o-jeu and Videotron, Simon Kean (20-1,
19 K.-O.) will be in charge of the co-main event of the
evening. The main attraction of this boxing card, broadcast
live on Punching Grace, will oppose Arslanbek Makhmudov
(13-0-0, 13 K.O.) to Poland's Mariusz Wach (36-7-0, 19 K.O.)
for the NABF heavyweight title.
"Following the recommendations of his medical team, we made
the decision to cancel Ulysse's fight by precautionary
measure. He will also undergo surgery," said EOTTM Director
of Development and Head Coach Marc Ramsay, adding that
Ulysse should be back in the ring in the spring of 2022.
Six bouts are scheduled for this first anniversary gala
which will be entirely presented on Punching Grace. Boxing
fans will be able to see Luis Santana (4-0-0, 2 K.O.) in
action against Brandon Garcia Orozco (4-1-0, 3 K.O.), Avery
Martin-Duval (5-0-1, 3 K.O.) against the powerful Francisco
Javier Lucero (10-3-4, 7 K.O.) as well as Leila Beaudoin
(3-0-0, 1 K.O.) and Thomas Chabot (5-0-0, 5 K.-O.)
