Rockin' Fights 55: 4 Weeks Out
With just four weeks to go until Rockin’ Fights 55 on
October 10, at The Paramount in Huntington, Long Island, Joe
DeGuardia’s Star Boxing is preparing for a special night of
action and celebration honoring the American Dream and the
generations of people who have come to the United States in
pursuit of opportunity and built their own stories of
success.
New York has long been a gateway to that dream. From
generations of Irish and Italian immigrants who helped shape
the city and the sport of boxing, to the communities
pursuing that same promise today, the fight game has always
reflected a uniquely American story, people from different
backgrounds united by ambition, hard work and the belief
that anything is possible.
At Rockin’ Fights 55, that spirit will be celebrated both
inside and outside the ring, with an exciting night of
professional boxing accompanied by special festivities
throughout the evening.
The celebration will include a live performance by America’s
Tenor Christopher Macchio, along with appearances by special
guests and additional surprises planned for fight night.
“Boxing has always been a sport for dreamers,” said Star
Boxing President and CEO Joe DeGuardia. “My own family’s
story is rooted in the Italian-American experience, and
generations of people have come to this country believing
that if they work hard and keep fighting, they can build
something better. That spirit is at the heart of boxing, and
it’s what we want to celebrate at Rockin’ Fights 55.”
With fight night now just four weeks away, additional

special guests and event festivities, will be revealed in
