In a compelling clash of
youth versus experience that highlighted MF Pro's
inaugural event in the United States, H2O Sylve improved
to 14-1 (10 KOs) with a unanimous decision victory over
former two-time world champion Joseph “JoJo” Diaz
(34-10-1, 15 KOs) in a 10-round super lightweight
contest broadcast worldwide on DAZN.
The victory served as the centerpiece of a successful
U.S. debut for MF Pro, as H2O delivered a statement
performance against one of the sport's most accomplished
veterans before a packed crowd at Thunder Studios in

Saturday night in Glendale, Arizona, boxing once again
reminded everyone that while hype remains a valuable
currency in the sport, talent eventually arrives to
collect the debt.
And in the case of Jesse “Bam” Rodriguez, business
appears to be booming.
Rodriguez captured the WBA bantamweight title at Desert
Diamond Arena with a devastating sixth-round stoppage of
Antonio Vargas, claiming a world championship in a third
weight division and perhaps moving one step closer
toward what could become one of boxing’s biggest
international events — a potential super fight with
undisputed super bantamweight champion Naoya Inoue.

KOs), picked up the US WBC silver super featherweight
championship by taking a razor-thin 10-round unanimous
decision over Mexico’s Daniel Lugo (28-4-1, 19 KOs)
tonight on ProBoxTV.
Fighting in the 10-round main event at College Park
Center at the University of Texas in Arlington, in an
event presented by ProBox Promotions and Sampson
Lewkowicz (Sampson Boxing), the two-time world title
challenger Vazquez had a good round one via his superior
work rate in the pocket, but Lugo came alive and flashed
repeated combinations to win round two. Lugo continued
to seemingly get the better in round three, but Vazquez
found his foe’s rhythm in round four and landed several
eye-catching bombs from midrange.
